I've been scanning old transparencies. Seems like I have quite a few of the former New York Central in eastern New York State. So, let's take a visual trip up the Hudson and along the Mowhawk in the early part of the century.
I do not know a lot except it is between Mildura and Melbourne, mostly carries the grain crops and of course a few passengers. It used to be speed limited during the 80's due to track problems from the high temperature ranges I think, not sure if it has been fixed. It is a major line running to that part of Victoria, possibly used for fruit and grapes grown in the region also.
